Too Hot To Handle 15K/5K

I enjoyed the event.  It was my first loop of WR, which is so beautiful.  

This was one of the best Run On events yet! Ya'll did great!

Way to go, everyone!  It was great to see and talk to so many people.  Glad it wasn't too hot!

I think a cool front is coming in.  The high is supposed to be a cool 90!

I'll try to go faster so I can get a drink.

All us middle of the pack; ie; 'slow' people need to carry water. I have heard from 'several' friends that did not get registered that are going to run. Last year RunOn blamed it on the different training groups stopping at the water stops. But when you cap and plan for 2500 runners anything extra destroys the best planning.

I ran tonight with that cool bandana they included in the bag.  It did make a bit of a difference in fighting the heat.  The back of my shirt was soaked by the end.  

Danny, it doesn't hurt to ask..they may have some last-minute dropouts..umm

Now that's a sore subject.  Last year getting dehydrated during the race and still having to do El Scorcho with no sleep in between.

Bummer they closed registration!  I really wish they could let 2 or 3 more of us squeeze into this event!  Come on run on!  Hook a brother up!  I promise to bring my fuel belt so that I don't drink all of your fluids!  :-)

It looks like we're getting the first day of cooler weather on Saturday:0)
