Rock To Victory Half Marathon

There werre a few age group awards that had not been picked up after the race. The rule is the awards are only given out at the race.

Regardless of the rule, the remaining awards can be picked up at the Mockingbird Run-On! store this week until Saturday.

Let me chime in with everyone else and say 'Great Event' I do hope RTV can stay on the calendar for years to come.

And YES! the wifester and I both hit the times we were 'running' for, joint PR's!

Thanks for the great organization Marcus.  The course, water stops and great weather provided a great opportunity for revenge and a sweet PR.  Well done.

Congratulations to all the Runwell, RunOn and DRC pace leaders, you guys did an incredible job keeping your people on point, or in some cases coming in a little early :-)

I got it!!  I just wanted to post a quick note to let you know that I had a great time today.  That's the most fun I've had at a race in a long time.  Of course the group at the Mile 4 aid station was awesome, all of the runners were so friendly and just having fun, the course was challenging, but awesome and then I got to end it with a new PR.  I'll be putting this one on my calendar indefinitely.

Did you get it?!?  I'm talking about that PR you were going after!  It was so great to see so many friends crossing the finish line with their arms in the air and big grins on their faces. What a day to run! Especially compared to the December race. Man I wish I could have been out there.

We really appreciate your participation in this race, and hope you enjoyed it. We will build upon this year and will grow the event to the point it might be larger than the Half Marathon race in December. And you will be able to say you were one of the select who ran it that first year when there was just under 2,000 runners, and the Katy Trail wasn’t crowded at all.
