    Need eye glass advice

    For the first time in my life I need to buy perscription glasses.  I have always been a contact wearer, but I have an eye condition that is about to change that.  So I am asking those who wear glasses when they run, what do you use to hold your glasses in place?

    Rachel-
    I have run with my Oakley's that have the prescription lenses in them. Sunglasses stay on pretty well without any cords etc. It may be a little more expensive to get the prescriptions put on the Oakley lenses, but it is well worth it in the long run...

    Hi Rachel,
    I run all the time with glasses and have never had a problem and use nothing special to keep them on.  My regular glasses are wire frames and give me no problem.  My sunglasses have sort of spring hingles that keep them on tight.  Althought I have done mud runs in the sunglasses and wore a lanyard, I never did need it as they never came off.  If they are fitted well, they shouldn't be a problem.  Good luck!
