If you get an "Oops!" message while uploading photos, it's almost always because the photo is bigger than racenation can handle. We had to put a limit on photo sizes in order to conserve bandwidth and storage and ensure that the website continues to be responsive.
Currently the limit is 4 megabytes. We are working on getting a more informational error message in place, as well as potentially increasing the file size limit.
