I love to bike, swim, and run. I have been doing triathlons for almost three years. I have completed 4 triathlons so far.
I joined DRC to become a better runner.
I have made so many nice friends since I became a triathlete. Everyone I meet is so positive and encouraging. I find myself not being able to get through the day without a good swim, bike, and/or run.
I also have a disease called Lupus. I have lived with this disease for almost 10 years. At first I could barely walk or dress myself. Now I am doing triathlons and running half marathons! My dream is to one day complete an Ironman. I know it will happen with a lot of hard work, discipline, and patience. It's going to be a long journey and I am going to have a blast every step of the way!
It's amazing what can happen with prayer and a lot of positive energy around.

Tambra, it was so good to visit w/ you a few minutes last night . It is very fine to see your smiling face among us. You are an inspiration-- when you can't actually do it, or need to do it moderately while healing, you are out there helping the rest of us do if. Thank you.
Thanks for continuing to take care of us all!!
Dang I wish the rain would go away so that my arthritis can calm down! I still have a ray of hope that I can trot a few times up the hill tonight though.... :-)
Thanks for the good wishes for the safe trip!! I made it in one piece barely with the cats (poor things...they were in shock). But they are happy now in their temp housing with me and out of that dang Jeep!
