Still trying to recoup and then Larry took sick last night.  He is on bed rest for the rest of the weekend and I need to be there to nurse him.  Have a great run tomorrow and I'll try to find a trail to get my mileage in.  :(  I'll miss seeing you guys, but have fun!

Saw your message about being sick last Saturday. Hope you are feeling better.  We are meeting at 6:30a at Winfrey Point Saturday to run 3 miles before the race at 8.  

Nicole, you should have gotten an e-mail explaining that the group will meet at Winfrey at 6:30, run 3 miles, and then do the race. Let me know if you're not getting these Announcements. Also, you can look on the run/walk page of RaceNation early each week, where I post the plans for the week. We don't want you to be out of the loop!

Oh, not the flu! It wasn't the swine variety, was it?  (I read a comment about that. It said, "Swine flu patients should be cured." Just a little pork joke!!) Anyway, I hope you're feeling better and will be back with the Team on Saturday!

Hi, Nicole! I saw your post to David and thought I'd answer, in case he doesn't see it. The Breakfast Bash isn't until a week from this Saturday. This Saturday, the 29th, we're doing our mileage from the clubhouse as usual.  On the day of the Breakfast Bash (Sept. 5) we'll meet early at Winfrey, get in the extra mileage, and then do the race at 8:00. Busy morning! See you Sat.....

We'll miss you for sure. Enjoy keeping cool at that conference!

Thanks for the encouragement, Jean!  I am so happy about our progress.  I hate that I'll miss Saturday's run (conference in Ft. Worth), but I'll see you all next Saturday.  Have a great week!
