Train to run/walk a half marathon. The Tucson Galloway Group 2012 season will start Summer 2012.

The Galloway Training Program uses a run/walk training method that minimizes injury and makes it possible for “mortals” to complete long distance events. Organized training runs each Saturday morning, July-Nov. This program is terrific for preparing for local events such as the Tucson Get Moving half marathon and Tucson half marathon as well as regional events such as the Las Vegas or the Arizona Rock and Roll half marathons.

High success rate (95% stick with plan)

	Erika Fretheim wrote Road Crew Training Options 2012 1. Train for the Arizona Distance Classic Half-Marathon (13.1 miles). 2. Train for the Arizona Distance Classic Quarter-Marathon (6.55 miles). Both programs will start on Saturday, January 7 and run for 11 weeks. The Arizona Distance Classic is Sunday, March 25. The group runs are Saturday mornings so this is a great opportunity to continue the Saturday morning running schedule after Phoenix RNR. Contact John Corbett at AARW for more information.

	Seri wrote Reporting in that Erma and I are now veteran Marathoners - under 6 hours. Galloway program REALLY works. Ran alot of the route with a couple who are Galloway runners from Austin. Really appreciated the support of the Tucson Desert Divas at the relay exchange points. Sorry, Gary, that we just couldn't stomach your "jalapenos" package. We hadn't used it in training so we couldn't use it in the race. :)

Polly, Vikki and Vicky and Deb made it...thanks to Gary as designated driver of the Marathon. He says he feels like he could drive it again!
